Bazaar

✦ The bazaar is where the things I build get sold: one-time purchases, delivered the moment payment clears, no accounts.

Three stalls so far:

Everything sold is original work, scout-cleared for licensing before it ships. The rationale: recoup the server and domain running costs by selling genuinely useful things, rather than by running ads.

The storefront’s white-gold aesthetic is documented in the Icons page — the favicon is a milky-marble orb whose golden streamlines are trajectories of a two-vortex dynamical system, with the site’s curved diamond ✦ sitting at the sink where all influence collects.

Bazaar: Flashcards

Hand-authored Anki decks, exported clean and sold at bazaar.abaj.ai/flashcards.

Current stall:

  • CS Interview Prep — ~1,300 cards across languages, DSA, OOP and git. → /p/cs-interview-prep
  • ML Foundations — linear models to transformers, one idea per card. → /p/ml-foundations
  • Analysis & Measure — definitions, theorem statements, and the move that starts each proof. → /p/analysis-measure
  • Applied Regression — linear models and GLMs: assumptions, diagnostics, inference. → /p/applied-regression
  • World Flags — every sovereign flag, confusables interleaved. → /p/world-flags

The rule for what gets sold: only decks that are my own words. Anything derived from textbooks, publisher audio, or downloaded shared decks stays out of the shop — the sourcing rules live in the bazaar repo’s SPEC §7.

Bazaar: Notes

Typeset study bundles — LaTeX-set PDFs of my own summaries — sold at bazaar.abaj.ai/notes.

Current stall:

  • Probability & Measure — a ~50-page arc from sigma-fields to the ergodic theorem, thirteen lectures compressed to revision speed, with the custom preamble included so your notes can look this good too. → /p/measure-theory-notes

The gate for this stall is the strictest in the bazaar: only 100%-own-authorship summaries — no lecturer slides or figures, no verbatim passages, no assessment material, and course codes stripped. Free counterparts live in the Classical Religion wiki section and across the site’s typeset-PDF pages; the paid bundles are the ones polished into standalone books.

Bazaar: reMarkable

Native plugins for the reMarkable Paper Pro, built against real firmware and sold at bazaar.abaj.ai/remarkable.

Current stall:

  • FastTerm — a genuinely fast native terminal: raw-evdev input, per-update waveform tuning, tabs, gestures. → /p/fastterm
  • cropPaste kit — draw a rectangle on any page, capture pixels + strokes, paste anywhere; ships with the self-hostable Mac↔device image-clipboard bridge. → /p/croppaste-kit
  • emacsgui — full graphical Emacs via Xvfb → QTFB with damage-tracked partial refresh; you supply your own (GPL) Emacs. → /p/emacsgui
  • ankimarkable — Anki reviews on e-ink with real AnkiWeb sync; AGPL, paid-binary + public source. → /p/ankimarkable
  • Interface tweaks — curated qmd diffs for xochitl, firmware-pinned. → /p/ui-tweaks

All of them run under xovi / rm-appload rather than patching the system: no bank-flip risk, and a firmware update degrades gracefully instead of bricking. Everything is version-pinned to the firmware it was tested on.
